Planets come in all shapes, sizes and compositions - there are three types of planets in our Solar System, terrestrial planets (Mercury, Venus, Earth, and Mars), gas giants (Jupiter and Saturn), and ice giants (Uranus and Neptune). There are also many smaller "dwarf planets", most notably Pluto.
